  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the dry onion soup mix, sour cream, and milk.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  5. Place seared chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Pour the sour cream mixture over the chicken, ensuring each breast is well coated.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Garnish with fresh chives, if desired, and serve immediately.
