Pulled Pork Cheddar Cheeseburgers with Seasoned Potato Wedges

Pulled Pork Burgers

Ingredients:
For the Burgers:
* 4 potato rolls
* 4 frozen Angus beef patties, defrosted
* 1 T. Montreal steak seasoning
* 4 thick slices of cheddar or white cheddar cheese
* 2 c. pulled pork

For the Potato Wedges:
* 4 russet potatoes, sliced in half and then vertically (wedge)
* 1/3 c.olive oil
* 1/2 t. pepper
* 1/4 t. and 1/2 t. salt, divided
* 1/4 t. parsley
* 1/4 t. garlic powder
* 1/4 t. paprika

NOTE: If you want the recipe to cook in under 1 hour, use plain, frozen French fries and cook according to package directions

 

To Serve:
* bread and butter pickles
* barbecue sauce
* ketchup

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Toss the potatoes in a bowl with all of the herbs and spices, except for 1/2 t. salt.
3. Arrange potato wedges on a sheet pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, turning over halfway through.
4. Turn grill on to medium high heat.
5. Season burgers with steak seasoning and place on the grill. Cook for 8 minutes or until edges begin to brown and then flip over. Cook for another 8-12 minutes, depending upon the doneness preferred.
6. Toast the buns on the top portion or on the grill but away from the flame for 4 minutes or so.
7. Two minutes before removing the burgers, place cheddar on top and let it melt. Remove burgers from grill and set aside.
8. Microwave the pork for 2 minutes.
9. Assemble the burgers: Place a cheeseburger on the potato roll, top with 1/2 cup of pulled pork. Add barbecue sauce and pickles, if desired.
