Delicious Herb and Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites

These Herb and Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites are the perfect appetizer or snack. Flaky puff pastry is filled with a savory mixture of herbs and cheese, then baked to golden perfection.

  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz) puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chives, parsley, oregano, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Carefully roll up the puff pastry into a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds.
  7. Place the rounds on the prepared baking sheet, cut-side up.
  8. Brush the tops of the rounds with the beaten egg.
  9. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, if desired.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve these warm as an appetizer or snack. They are also delicious dipped in marinara sauce.
