This Halloween cookie cake is a festive and delicious treat perfect for parties or a spooky night in! A giant chocolate chip cookie base is topped with colorful frosting and Halloween candies for a fun, shareable dessert.

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 container (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • Halloween sprinkles and candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or round baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool completely before frosting.
  10. Frost the cookie cake with vanilla frosting and decorate with Halloween sprinkles and candies.
  11. Slice and serve.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate or caramel over the frosting before adding the Halloween candies.
