This Crispy Feta Chicken is a delightful combination of savory and sweet. The salty feta crust perfectly complements the juicy chicken, all drizzled with a spicy kick of hot honey.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (or more to taste)
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crumbled feta, breadcrumbs, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Press the feta mixture evenly onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the feta crust is golden brown.
  6. While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot honey drizzle. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and hot sauce. Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired spice level.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, drizzle generously with hot honey.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve immediately.
