Delicious Cookie Dough Bar Creation

This Cookie Dough Bar is a fun and easy dessert perfect for parties or a sweet treat. It features a thick layer of edible cookie dough topped with your favorite candies and sprinkles!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sprinkles
  • Assorted candies (M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat-treat the flour: Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Gradually add the heat-treated flour to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Press the cookie dough mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle the top with sprinkles and assorted candies.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brown butter. You can also add different extracts or spices to customize the cookie dough.
