Cheesy Broccoli Tater Tots Platter

These Cheesy Broccoli Tater Tots are a fun and delicious way to sneak some extra veggies into your snack time! Crispy tater tots are loaded with cheesy goodness and tender broccoli for a crowd-pleasing treat.

  • 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  4. While tater tots are baking, steam or microwave broccoli florets until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes).
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Add milk and garlic powder, and stir to combine.
  7. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Once tater tots are done, remove from oven.
  9. Top the tater tots with steamed broccoli and pour the cheese sauce over them.
  10. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese sauce. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or ketchup.
